Dear ERAnians

Eranians are always eager to extend their network of friendship in Rotary and this made them to travel up to Ambur on a Sunday early morning for the Inter City meet and their presence gave me the extra energy to deliver in a better way in the Patti Mandram Programme. The effective speech of Fr .Jagath Gasper made the audience spell bound and Tom Haynes from Australia for our weekly meetings added grace and charm to the happenings in Era during the month of September .The launch of Project Selvi with training in software skills as a first step will certainly bring about a change in the lives of beneficiaries in the near future. The signing of sister club Agreement in Malaysia has opened yet another door for understanding in International Rotary. The month of October will be for family participation and Projects and I request the Eranians to participate as usual with the same zeal, energy and enthusiasm.

With Affectionate Regards

Rtn.R.Srinivasan.

Rotarians of RI Dist 3300 extended a red carpet welcome to the Rotarians of Dist 3230 at the Intercity meet on 29th September at Kualalumpur. The meeting was presided by Dist Governor Joseph Rajendran of RI Dist 3300 and the presence of many PDGs and DGE added charm to the occasion. The meeting started with the National Anthems of both countries followed by the toast and the Introductory remarks of the Club Presidents. Then followed the signing of sister club Agreement of RC ERA with RC Bukit Komonwel of RI Dist 3300 and the exchange of flags. The President of RC Bukit Komonwel Rtn.M.S.Subramaniam is keen and enthusiastic about his trip to Chennai. The spirit of Bonhomie and camaraderie that prevailed during fellowship, music, dance and dinner will be etched in our hearts for ever. Thank you Rotarians of Malaysia for hosting the events especially Captains Ball and special thanks to Galaxians, their President Rtn.Vinod & their Int.Service Director Rtn.Neelakandan for their fantastic arrangements in the sister club signing and our trip to Malaysia.
